Be a follower of Jesus and bring someone with you. Attend a worship service and bring someone with you. Go to a small group and bring someone with you. Serve and bring someone with you.
02.
Bible-Based
The Bible is life-giving and should be communicated that way. We use the Bible to build people up, not beat them up. Our lives are built on hearing and doing what the Bible says. We self-feed, and preaching is a supplement.
03.
God Moments
During Worship Services, we create space for moments where people can connect with God powerfully and genuinely. We call these God Moments. People should also look for and expect “God Moments” during the week.
04.
Kids Win
Kids environments are the primary priority outside the adult sanctuary & main lobby. Everything else may be adjusted or impacted to provide our kids and students with the best environments.
05.
Live It Out
We have a “live it out moment” at the end of our messages. Messages are preached with “living it out” in mind. We preach to equip more than inform.
06.
One hour of worship to kick off a week of worship
Our worship isn’t relegated to worship services or singing. Worship is giving our entire lives, all week long, to the glory of God.
Pastor Paul, Senior Pastor
We Are
More than anything, Paul loves God and leading people to life in Jesus. This is evident in the way he loves his wife of over 34 years, Amy, his four grown children, and 12 grandkids. Since 2008, Paul has also compassionately led the people of Echo Church and embraced our community.
Although he holds a Masters Degree in Leadership Studies and serves as a consultant to pastors nationwide, Paul firmly believes “People don’t care how much you know, unless they know how much you care.” Paul demonstrates this through his relatable and practical teaching and leadership style which emphasizes the transformational power of God’s Word and His life within us. If you want to find Pastor Paul in a room full of people, just listen for the loudest laugh or mention the Detroit Lions (unless they’re losing, in which case you’re better off not mentioning them at all).
During some of the most difficult days of our nation’s history, the Great Depression, two bold women felt led by God to establish a church in the capital city of Montana. With a passion to see lost souls won for Christ, they let nothing hold them back.
Their mission lives on in the DNA of Echo Church. We’re deeply committed to helping people develop a relationship with Jesus and live a fulfilled life! While the Gospel Message has never changed, our methods of presentation have in order to remain relevant in our ever-changing culture.
Over the years, our church has met in various locations, including rented facilities, and at the old St. John’s Lutheran Church building (11th and Logan). We built at our present location in 1966 and now have three buildings that get used each week for kids, students, and adult services. We’re committed to reaching Helena for the long haul.
Bridge Assembly was birthed by Echo Church in 1994, and functions as an independent work.
Paul Feuerstein has been our Lead Pastor since 2007. Since his arrival, through the work of the Holy Spirit, we’ve more than doubled in size as we continue the legacy of reaching out to people who are far from God with the life-giving message of Jesus. We’re excited about what lies ahead!
